Formula
Whole years = the number of anniversaries of the date that have passed. Then whole months after the last anniversary, then remaining days.
Next anniversary = the next occurrence of the same month and day on or after the as-of date (29 February moves to 1 March in common years).
Worked example
From 20 June 2015 to 10 March 2024: 8 anniversaries reach 20 June 2023, 8 more months reach 20 February 2024, and 20 February to 10 March is 9 + 10 = 19 days. That is 8 years, 8 months, 19 days. The next anniversary is 20 June 2024, 21 + 30 + 31 + 20 = 102 days later.
